Abstract / Description

This webinar brings together voices from different art fields, activism, and other sectors to share their insights on the role of the arts as an activism tool. Speakers discuss ways that cross-sector organizations can collaborate with artists to mobilize communities and drive change to promote health equity.

Webinar Objectives:

  • Discuss various art mediums as forms of activism and how each could be incorporated into health equity initiatives.
  • Explore ways art can be used to inspire people to take action for health equity. 
  • Discuss the role of local artists in bringing a voice to the most pressing issues in their communities.
  • Outline implementation strategies and key action steps to effectively integrate art into efforts to advance health equity.
